Mesothelioma symptoms develop gradually and typically take 20-30 years until symptoms arise. The patient may not have symptoms when mesothelioma is in its early stages. But as time goes by, cancer cells will grow and suppress nerves or other organs, causing symptoms.

Mesothelioma symptoms differ depending on the location of cancer cells. In pulmonary mesothelioma, the symptoms that may arise are as follows:



  • Heat is accompanied by sweat especially at night.
  • Excessive fatigue.
  • Cough is accompanied by unbearable pain.
  • A short breath is due to the depiction of fluid in the lungs, precisely in the pleural cavity, which is the space between the two layers of the lung pleural layer.
  • No weight loss.
  • Chest pain.

Pericardium and testicular Mesothelioma are a rare type of mesothelioma. Pericard mesothelioma usually causes chest pain symptoms and respiratory disorders, whereas the testicular mesothelioma is characterized by swelling or the emergence of bumps in the testicular area.

Mesothelioma symptoms are not specific and can be caused by other conditions. Therefore, immediately meet the doctor if you experience the above symptoms, especially if you have a history of asbestos exposure.
